1. Who is responsible for your data?
Medina Solutions is the data controller for personal data processed through this website and in connection with quotation requests. You can contact us about this policy or your personal data at info@medinasolutions.net.
2. Information we collect
When you request a quotation, we may collect your first and last name, email address, optional telephone number, number of cameras, building type, installation and monitor requirements, and anything you include in the comments field. If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, we also receive the information you provide in that communication.
Our server may process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as an IP address, request time, browser information and server security logs.
3. Why we use your information

We do not use information submitted through the quotation form for unrelated direct marketing unless we first obtain any permission required by law.
4. Who receives your information?
Access is limited to Medina Solutions personnel who need the information. We may also use trusted providers that support website hosting, email delivery, IT security, communications, professional advice or business administration. They may process information only for the relevant service and under appropriate data-protection obligations.
We may disclose information where required by law, to a competent authority, or where necessary to protect our legal rights. We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Some service providers may process information outside Malta or the European Economic Area. Where GDPR requires it, we use an approved transfer mechanism, such as an adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses, together with appropriate safeguards. Contact us if you would like information about safeguards relevant to your data.
6. How long we keep information
We normally keep unsuccessful quotation requests and related correspondence for up to 24 months after our last contact, so we can follow up the enquiry and deal with related questions. If you become a customer, relevant records may be kept for the duration of the relationship and afterwards for the period required by tax, accounting, warranty and legal-claims rules. Security logs are retained only as long as reasonably necessary for security and troubleshooting.
We may delete information sooner when it is no longer needed, or retain it longer where a legal obligation or active legal claim requires this.
7. Cookies and similar technology
This website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. When you submit the quotation form, the server uses a strictly necessary session cookie to prevent repeated submissions and abuse. It is not used to track you for marketing and normally expires when your browser session ends.
Following the WhatsApp link takes you to a third-party service whose own privacy information applies.
8. Your data-protection rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to:
- access your personal data and receive a copy;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request deletion or restriction of processing;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests;
- receive certain data in a portable format; and
- withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
These rights are subject to conditions and legal exceptions. To make a request, email info@medinasolutions.net. We may need to verify your identity and will normally respond within one month.
You may also lodge a complaint with Malta’s Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC) through idpc.org.mt. We would appreciate the opportunity to address your concern first.
9. Security and automated decisions
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
We do not make decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects about you solely by automated means, and we do not profile visitors through this website.

We may update this policy when our services, providers or legal obligations change. The latest version will be published on this page with a revised update date.
